This policy explains what personal data we collect through ntpsense.com and our sales/support process, why, and what rights you have over it under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022, "UU PDP").
Plain-language summary: we collect what you give us through contact/quote forms (name, email, company, phone), we don't sell it, and the NTPSense gateway software itself does not phone home or transmit telemetry from your network to us. Details below.
1. Who is responsible (Data Controller)
NTPRO TEKNOLOGI JAYA, registered in Indonesia, is the Pengendali Data Pribadi (Data Controller) for personal data collected through this website, in the sense of UU PDP Article 1(4).
2. What we collect
- Contact / Get a Quote forms: name, email address, phone number, company name, and anything you write in a free-text field.
- Support requests: the above, plus technical details you choose to share to help us diagnose an issue (e.g. log excerpts).
- Standard web server logs: IP address, browser user-agent, pages visited, timestamp — collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure for security and troubleshooting, not for tracking/advertising.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell visitor data to data brokers.
3. Legal basis for processing
Under UU PDP Article 20, we process your data on one or more of these lawful bases:
- Consent — when you voluntarily submit a form.
- Contract performance — to respond to a quote request or fulfill an order.
- Legitimate interest — basic server logs needed to keep the site secure and operating.
4. How we use it
- Responding to your inquiry, quote request, or support ticket.
- Processing an order and coordinating delivery/invoicing.
- Internal analytics on which pages are useful (aggregated, not sold or shared externally).
- Legal compliance, e.g. tax and accounting records for completed transactions.
5. The NTPSense appliance itself
This section covers the product, separately from the website:
- NTPSense InetGateway runs entirely on hardware you own and control. As of this policy's date, the software does not include telemetry, phone-home, or usage-reporting functionality that transmits data from your deployed appliance back to NTPSense.
- If a future version introduces optional telemetry (e.g. for update checks or crash reporting), it will be opt-in, disclosed in release notes, and documented here before being enabled by default.
- Any personal data that transits through a gateway you operate (your own network traffic, your users' traffic) is your responsibility as the operator, not processed by NTPSense the company. You are the Data Controller for that traffic under UU PDP, not us.
6. Sharing & third parties
We do not sell personal data. We may share it narrowly with:
- Service providers who help us operate (e.g. hosting infrastructure, email service) under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal authorities if required by valid Indonesian legal process.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring of NTPSense — you would be notified.
7. Retention
Contact/quote form data is kept for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up (typically up to 24 months), unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Transaction records are kept as long as required by Indonesian tax and accounting law.
8. Security measures
In line with UU PDP's requirement to prevent unauthorized access (Article 35), we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for this site, restricted internal access to submitted form data, and standard server hardening. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authority without undue delay in the event of a data breach involving personal data we control, as required by UU PDP Article 46.
9. Your rights as a Data Subject
Under UU PDP Chapter V, you have the right to:
- Know what personal data of yours we hold and why (access).
- Correct inaccurate data (rectification).
- Request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements (erasure).
- Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.
- Object to certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Lodge a complaint with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection supervisory authority if you believe we've mishandled your data.

10. International visitors
If you're contacting us from outside Indonesia, your data may be transferred to and processed in Indonesia. We take reasonable steps to protect it regardless of origin. If you are in a jurisdiction with its own data protection law (e.g. the EU's GDPR), you may have additional rights under that law for data we process about you — contact us and we will do our reasonable best to accommodate.
